Men's Hockey Picked Sixth in NCHA Preseason Poll

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) announced its 2024-25 Men's Hockey Coaches' Preseason Poll on Wednesday.

The Falcons are projected to finish in sixth place and recorded 41 points in the poll.

The Green Knights of St. Norbert and the Bulldogs of Adrian are tied for first with 93 points. St. Norbert had six first-place votes and Adrian had three.

Aurora picked up one first-place vote in fourth place at 73 points.

Trine is picked third at 79 points, with MSOE at 60 points in fifth place.

Marian was selected seventh at 40 points with Lake Forest at 27, Dubuque at 24 and Lawrence at 19.

Last year, the Falcons finished with a 6-12-0 record in the NCHA with victories over Aurora, Lawrence, Lake Forest, Dubuque and Marian.

The Falcons drop the puck on the 2024-25 campaign on November 1 against Concordia Moorhead.

NCHA play will begin on November 9 at Trine.
