Gabe Rosek Reels in NCHA Star of the Week Honor

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) announced its men's hockey Three Stars of the Week on Tuesday morning. Gabe Rosek was selected as one of the NCHA Three Stars of the Week for Men's Hockey.

A junior goaltender from East Lansing, Michigan, Gabe Rosek is securing his third career Star of the Week honor and the second this season. He also claimed the honor on Jan. 7.

He opened the weekend with a 2-1 victory at No. 4-ranked St. Norbert. He finished with 48 saves in the victory and helped the Falcons kill off six power plays.

On Saturday, he did not allow an even-strength goal and had 45 saves against the Green Knights.

The other two stars were Chase Freiermuth of Lake Forest and Carson Jones of MSOE.

Rosek and the Falcons return to action on Friday at No. 4 Aurora.
