Women's Volleyball Claimed Another NACC Title

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's volleyball team posted a great 2022 campaign in the fall. The Falcons finished with a 19-8 record and clinched a share of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) title at 12-1.

The Falcons clinched the NACC title with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Lakeland in October.

CUW closed the regular season with a 3-0 victory over the reigning national champion, No. 14 Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Junior Maycee Karpfinger was voted to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Honorable Mention and the AVCA All-Region Team. She was also named to the All-NACC First Team.

Abby Proefrock was voted as the NACC Freshman of the Year.

Jenna Chaussee, Lauren Shroba and Sophia Collins were on the All-NACC Second Team and Sierra Lee claimed honorable mention honors.

The Falcons also dominated in the classroom earning AVCA honors. Jenna Chaussee and Maycee Karpfinger were also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

The Falcons are excited to soar in 2023.
