Five Falcons Claim All-NACC Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its major awards and all-conference teams on Thursday afternoon. The Falcons had Abby Proefrock named the NACC Freshman of the Year, Maycee Karpfinger named to the All-NACC First Team, Jenna Chaussee, Lauren Shroba and Sophia Collins on the All-NACC Second Team and Sierra Lee claimed honorable mention honors.

Abby Proefrock

A freshman libero from Grafton, Wisconsin, Abby Proefrock is the fifth Falcon in program history to take the title of NACC Freshman of the Year. She had 331 digs and 382 receptions on the season. She also picked up 107 assists, 28 service aces and three kills.

Maycee Karpfinger

A junior middle blocker from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Maycee Karpfinger is claiming her third-straight All-NACC honor. The Wisconsin native has the best hitting percentage in the NACC at 0.406, 0.059 higher than the next closest. She is averaging 3.6 points per set and has 266 kills, 106 digs, 51 blocks, 34 service aces and nine assists.

Jenna Chaussee

A senior outside hitter from Chilton, Wisconsin, Jenna Chaussee is securing her first NACC All-Conference honor. Chaussee stuffed the box score throughout the season and proved herself as one of the best all-around players in the conference with 535 receptions, 322 digs, 167 kills, 51 service aces, 24 assists and 19 blocks.

Sophia Collins

A senior outside hitter from Lake Mills, Wisconsin, Sophia Collins is earning her third-straight All-NACC honor. Collins collected 227 kills, 41 service aces, 24 blocks, five service aces and five assists.

Lauren Shroba

A sophomore right-side hitter from Bolingbrook, Illinois, Lauren Shroba earned All-NACC honors for the second year in a row. She finished the regular season with 221 kills, 28 blocks, and six assists.

Sierra Lee

A senior setter from Kenosha, Wisconsin, Sierra Lee is making her first All-NACC appearance. She dished out 582 assists and 226 digs. She also had 30 kills and 21 service aces.

Sydnei Avery of Aurora was voted as the NACC Player of the Year. The Defensive Player of the Year went to Courtney Levy of Benedictine and the Eagles of Edgewood claimed the Coaching Staff of the Year.
