Maycee Karpfinger Returns to AVCA All-Region Team
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The America Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its NCAA Division III All-Region Teams on Friday morning. Maycee Karpfinger made an appearance on the AVCA All-Region Eight Team this morning.
"I am honored to receive this award," said Maycee Karpfinger. " But I could not have earned this without the help of my wonderful teammates."
A junior from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Maycee Karpfinger is claiming the honor for the second-straight season.
Last week, Maycee Karpfinger was named to the All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) First Team.
Karpfinger boasts the 13th-highest hitting percentage in NCAA Division III at 0.395.
She finished the season with 274 kills, 107 digs, 68 blocks, 34 service aces and nine assists.
The Wauwatosa native is the first Falcon to claim the honor on two different occasions.
