Falcon Fast Facts: Cristina Stinson

What are you studying and what are your future career plans?
I am studying Exercise Physiology with a minor in Marketing.  After college, I plan on going into the Peace Corps. Following that, I hope to go to graduate school to get my MBA in International Marketing.
 
How did you get started in volleyball and why do you love the sport so much?
I started playing volleyball when I was in sixth grade. My friends at the time were the reason I wanted to play and then I just eventually started to fall in love with the game. It teaches so many lessons about interacting with others. I just love the idea of having other people have your back and the overall support system it is.
 
Favorite movie?
Avatar (The James Cameron one) 
 
Favorite snack?
Buñeulos
 
What is your vice (something you can't live without)?
Music
 
What has been your favorite CUW memory so far?
Making it to the NCAA tournament with my team.  
 
Are you a clean or messy person?
Clean-ish
 
What is your favorite Holiday and why?
Halloween because I just really enjoy dressing up and going all out for costumes.
 
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
My family a new house.
 
What is the most useless thing you ever bought?
A hair straightener.
 
What is your silliest fear?
Spiders. I am absolutely terrified.  
 
What is one thing people would never know about you just by looking at you?
I'm big Legend of Zelda games fan.  
 
What is the best pizza topping combination?
Straight cheese, there's just something about the original cheese pizza that makes my heart flutter...and my stomach grumble (cause I'm lactose intolerant).
 
Are you an indoors or outdoors person and why?
Outdoor. I really enjoy traveling and exploring new things.
 
What is the best topping/ice cream combination?
Well, I don't eat ice cream, but mango pomegranate sorbet from Oberweis is a gift from heaven.
