Three Falcons earn All-NACC Women's Volleyball honors

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin had three players earn All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball honors, as the league office announced on Thursday afternoon.

Seniors Megan Mayer and Kendall Stribling were each named to the All-NACC First Team, while senior Ariana Richmond was an All-NACC Honorable Mention honoree.

Mayer led the Falcons with 288 kills and 49 service aces, which ranked seventh and fifth in the NACC, respectively. The Downers Grove, Illinois native registered double-digit kills in 18 of her 27 matches played, including a season-high of 18 at UW-Stevens Point and at Illinois Tech. She served up multiple aces in 15 matches and had four service aces in four different contests. Her 49 service aces in the seventh most in a season in program history.

Stribling was strong at the net defensively, with a team-high 75 total blocks (13 solo, 68 assisted), to go along with 157 kills and 27 service aces. The Greenfield, Wisconsin native ranked in the top-8 for blocks in the conference and was also third amongst all players with a .294 hitting percentage. The middle hitter accumulated at least 3.0 total blocks in 15 matches, which included a career-best nine total blocks at Dominican (tied for fifth-most in a match in program history). She recorded a hitting percent of .400 or higher nine times.

Richmond led all back row defensive players on the Falcons roster with 377 digs, while also service 26 aces. She ranked eighth in the NACC for digs and recorded double-digit digs in 22 contests. The South Elgin, Illinois native had a season-high 28 digs in a five-set victory at Dominican on October 12.

Concordia Wisconsin has a 21-8 overall record and owns the No. 2 seed in the NACC Tournament after compiling a 10-2 league record during the regular season.
