Women's Volleyball 2019 statistical review

MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Women's Volleyball continued to accumulate the victories during the 2019 season, winning 22 times and posting a 10-2 record in NACC play. In addition, they were 8-2 on their home court inside the R. John Buuck Field House.

The Falcons ended the season ranked 49th nationally in opponent hitting percentage (.123), which is their highest ranking in the country of any statistical category.

At the conference level, they ranked third or better in nine categories and were second in points per set (15.9). Individually, Megan Mayer ranked fourth in service aces per set (0.52), fifth in total service aces (49), sixth in kills per set (3.06) and eighth in total kills (288). Kendall Stribling ranked fourth in hitting percentage (.291), sixth in block assists (67), seventh in total blocks (80), tied for seventh in blocks per set (0.78) and eighth in solo blocks (13). Makenzie Vertz ranked seventh in total assists (588) and eighth in assists per set (5.35). Cristina Stinson ranked fifth in service aces per set (0.50). Arianna Richmond ranked eighth in total digs (419) and ninth in digs per set (3.88). Olivia Richter ranked tied for seventh in blocks per set (0.78).

At the program level, the Falcons set the program's single-season record for service aces per set (2.10) in 2019. They also had the second most service aces (237), ranked third in assists (1,269), fourth in assists per set (11.23), fifth in kills per set (12.12) and hitting percentage (.199). Individually, Megan Mayer had the third-best service aces per set average (0.52), while Cristina Stinson was fifth at 0.50) for a single season.

As well, Jenna Chaussee served a program-record-tying seven service aces against Finlandia (September 21).

In conclusion, Megan Mayer ended her career with a program-record 0.42 service aces per set, while also ranking all-time with 161 service aces, fourth with 1,071 kills and fourth with a 2.80 kills per set average. Kelsey Kleba ended her career ranked fourth in hitting percentage (.264), while Kendall Stribling was eighth in hitting percentage (.217) and 10th in block assists (201). Arianna Richmond ends her career ranked ninth all-time with 1,129 digs.
