Falcons sweep Rose-Hulman, Finlandia

KENOSHA, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin swept Rose-Hulman 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-15) and Finlandia 3-0 (25-9, 25-6, 25-8) on Saturday during the second day of the Carthage Invitational inside Tarble Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin got back in the win column with a tough 3-0 sweep over Rose-Hulman, which included sets that went deep, as the Falcons won 25-22 and 25-23 to begin the match.
- They hit an incredible .538 as a team in the third and final set.
- Senior Kelsey Kleba (Hartland, Wis.) smashed seven kills on 10 attempts, while junior Cristina Stinson (Aurora, Ill.) recorded 20 assists. Senior Arianna Richmond (South Elgin, Ill.) had 12 digs and Kleba added four blocks.
- Concordia Wisconsin had a quick match against Finlandia that lasted 45 minutes, as they gave up just 23 points in a three-setter.
- The Falcons had five players recorded five or more kills, while Stinson tallied 30 assists.
- Overall, Concordia Wisconsin hit .438 as a team, while holding Finlandia to -.091 at the net.

GAME NOTES
- Senior Megan Mayer (Downers Grove, Ill.) and sophomore Gabrielle Pavlik (Pewaukee, Wis.) earned all-tournament honors.
