Women's Tennis blanked by UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin played its first non-conference women's tennis match of the season on Saturday and was shutout by UW-Stevens Point, 9-0, at University Courts.

The Pointers gave up just five points during doubles play to take a quick 3-0 lead in the matchup.

During singles play, UW-SP cruised in matches 1-5, while freshman Michaela Wagner (Oswego, Ill.) won the most games at No. 6 singles for the Falcons but still lost 6-5, 6-1.

CUW completes the fall portion of its season on Oct. 5 with a 2 p.m. non-conference match against Cornell College at North Shore Country Club.
