Ropiak nets NACC Women's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week accolade

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Amanda Ropiak was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week for the events from Aug. 26-Sept. 1, as selected by the league's athletic communicators.

Ropiak (Franklin, Wis.) went 2-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles play to help lead the Falcons to a pair of NACC victories Saturday. The sophomore posted a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 win at No. 4 singles against Aurora, while also gaining an 8-5 No. 2 doubles win with partner Emily McCormick. She then rolled to a 6-2, 6-3 No. 4 singles win versus Benedictine.

The conference weekly honor is the first of her career and the first for CUW's Women's Tennis team this season.
