Ciesielczyk game-winner nets NACC Women's Soccer Weekly Award

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin sophomore forward Emily Ciesielczyk has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Oct. 21-27, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Ciesielczyk (Waukesha, Wis.) scored the game-winning goal in the Falcons' (9-7-1, 7-2-1 NACC) 2-1 win over Edgewood on Tuesday, handing the Eagles their first conference loss of the season. Her game winner came in the 83rd minute.

Ciesielczyk and the Falcons will return to action Wednesday when they visit Wisconsin Lutheran College at 7 p.m. The Falcons have already clinched a spot in the six-team NACC Tournament, scheduled to begin Sunday, and a win over WLC would clinch a home match and the third seed.
