MEQUON, Wis.- Concordia Wisconsin, 7-2-0 in the NAC, dominated from start to finish in the course of dismantling Benedictine 5-0 Saturday afternoon on Parents' Day.
Less than five minutes into the match senior Lauren Straehler (Pewaukee, Wis.) bombed a 20 yard shot over the outstretched arms of the BenU goalie to give CUW the only goal needed.
Straehler punched a carbon copy shot to the same spot off a direct kick to make it 2-0 at the 33 minute mark and teammate Gabrielle Ulik made it 3-0 when she blasted home a Straehler pass just prior to halftime.
Freshmen Faith Palmreuter (Frankenmuth, Mich.) and Brittany Klumpp (Rubicon, Wis.) added second half scores to make for the 5-0 final.
Ryan Middendorf's team outshot the Eagles 33-3 and starting Concordia goalie Samatha Anacker was not forced to make a single save.
CUW, 10-4 overall, hosts UW-Oshkosh in a non conference tilt on Monday.
