Ally Hull shatters the school record with eight points against Lawrence

MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons rolled on Friday evening in a 9-1 victory over Lawrence on Friday night. The Blue and White improve to 6-7-0 and 3-2-0 in the NCHA.

Senior Ally Hull (Wasilla, Alaska) started the Ally Hull show five minutes into the game with a goal from a pass from junior Emily Reimche (Billings, Mont.).

Eight minutes later, junior Kaytlin Johnson (Black River Falls, Wis.)n lit the lamp off assists from Ally Hull and Emily Reimche.

The Falcons closed the first period with a goal from junior Sarah Pearson (South Range, Wis.), with Emily Reimche and Ally Hull adding the assists.

Ally Hull scored a pair of second-period goals off assists from Sarah Pearson, junior Sarah Tretina, Emily Reimche and Kaytlin Johnson.

Emily Reimche scored the sixth CUW goal 7:01 into the third period, with Sarah Pearson and Ally Hull having assists. Reimche then tipped in the seventh goal off a shot from sophomore Colleen Gilligan (Colbourne, Ont.) and an assist from Ally Hull.

Hull scored her last goal off the night off assists from senior Avrielle Schneider (Gilbert, Minn.) and Colleen Gilligan.

The Vikings broke the shutout with over five minutes remaining.

Junior Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.) scored the final goal of the game off touches from Kaytlin Johnson and junior Baileigh Johnson (Neillsville, Wis.).

Senior Shea Petersen (Rhinelander, Wis.) had 10 saves in the victory.

The Falcons held a 60-11 shots advantage on Friday. Ally Hull led the flock with 11 shots.

The previous school record was five points in a game.  She also tied the program record of four goals in a game.

The Blue and White tied the program record for goals in a game with nine.

CUW will look for the weekend sweep on Saturday.
