FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The CUW women's hockey team won in overtime on Friday night to sweep the weekend series with Marian. The Falcons won 2-1 to improve to 2-3 on the season.
Sophomore Ali Eiden (Rosemount, Minn.) scored her first career goal to put the Falcons on the scoreboard.
The Sabres tied the game in the third period.
Junior Sarah Tretina (Plainfield, Ill.) scored the game-winning goal in overtime off an assist to Ali Eiden.
Sophomore Annalina Van Hercke (Castle Rock, Colo.) had 10 saves in the game.
CUW held a 38-11 shots advantage on Friday.
The Falcons return to play on Friday at Hamline.
