
Women’s Hockey sweeps NCHA weekly honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's hockey team swept the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association honors on Tuesday afternoon. The Falcons are coming off a weekend sweep on NCHA foe Marian. Senior Ally Hull was named the Offensive Player of the Week and sophomore Annalina Van Hercke claimed the Defensive Player of the Week title
A senior from Wasilla, Alaska, Ally Hull is claiming the honor for the first time in her career. Hull scored two goals in Saturday night's 3-0 victory over Marian, including one on the power play.
A sophomore from Castle Rock, Colorado, Annalina Van Hercke is also earning the Defensive Player of the Week accolade for the first time in her career. The Colorado native secured her first collegiate shutout on Saturday night in the 3-0 victory over Marian. She secured 34 saves on the weekend.
The Falcons return to the rink on Friday night against Marian for the fifth meeting of the year against the Sabres.
