Women’s Hockey Posts a Program-Record Eight AHCA Academic All-Americans

MEQUON, Wis. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) is once again recognizing varsity ice hockey players who compiled exceptional results in the classroom during the 2020-21 season with the announcement of the fifth annual "Krampade All-American Scholars." Due to the effects of Covid-19, the AHCA adopted revised criteria for this year's honorees. To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.6 GPA for each semester, regardless of whether the school's hockey team was able to play this season or not. The names of 450 Division III women are being released today - their counterparts having already been announced.

The Falcons landed a program-record eight selections.

Senior Madi Chapman (Rogers, Minn.) and junior Emily Reimche (Billings, Ont.) are claiming the honor for the second time.

Sophomore Colleen Gilligan (Colborne, Ont.), senior Ally Hull (Wasilla, Alaska), senior Maddie Savage (Grand Rapids, Mich.), junior Lexy Sundal (Sioux Falls, S.D.), junior Sarah Tretina (Plainfield, Ill.) and sophomore Annalina Van Hercke (Castle Rock, Colo.) are all claiming the honor for the first time in their career.
