CUW defeats UW-Stevens Point skaters 6-1

Concordia needs to sweep UW-Stevens Point to earn home ice for the
first round of the conference playoffs. The Falcons are halfway
there after handing the Pointers a 6-1 defeat this evening.
Six different players tallied for CUW as Jim Ingman's team made the
most of just 21 shots on goal.
The visitors had more shots (28) but Concordia turned a 3-1 lead
after two periods into the 6-1 finale by cashing in on third
session breakways to bring their best-ever overall record to 12-9-3
while dropping UW-Stevens Point to 13-9-2 overall.
