Falcons complete road women’s hockey sweep

Concordia controlled today's non conference contest from the outset, getting what proved to the game winner on a Marie Melton first period score and then adding two more second period goals to convincingly defeat host Hamline 3-0.


Jim Ingman's skaters outshot Hamline 42-18 and improved to 6-7-1 overall behind shutout goaltending by Lea Jondal.


Alisha Java and Sarah Luberda lit the second period lamps with Hilary Christiansen, April Forar, Amber Cmejla, and Samantha Meuwissen all getting assists during the one-sided affair. Concordia is 4-4-1 in the NCHA.
