Falcon women skaters tie UW-Superior 2-2
Superior
One day after scoring a major upset, CUW proved it was no fluke by
skating to a 2-2 road tie with the same opponent- Nationally-ranked
UW-Superior.
"We were sluggish at the outset but the third period was
outstanding for us," said Coach Jim Ingman. "Then our penalty kill
in overtime was also very very good. Going to a hostile
environment like this and coming out of here 1-0-1 says a lot about
our program."
The Falcons, enjoying the best season in the program's short 4 year
history, are 11-8-2 overall.
