Women’s Golf Hosts CUW Triangular

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team hosted the CUW Triangular at Mee-Kwon Park Golf Course just down the road from the Concordia Wisconsin campus.  The Falcons came in second place with a total score of 399 strokes.  Marian University took the victory with 387 strokes.

Freshman Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) took the tournament crown even in the worst of conditions with a total of 88 strokes.

Senior Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) took team second with a total of 96 strokes.  Not far behind her was fellow senior Payton Dorn (Freedom, Wis.) with 98 total shots.

In ninth place for the tournament was freshman Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) with a total of 117 strokes.

Capping off the Falcon team was junior Hannah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) with a total of 127 strokes.

The Falcons continue their weekend at the UW-Whitewater Spring Invitational in Janesville, Wisconsin on Friday.
