Falcons Claim Second Place at Country Club Classic

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team concluded its weekend tour at the Country Club Classic on Monday. The Falcons finished in second place as a team at 359 strokes. The Lady Blues of Illinois College led the four-team competition at 322 strokes.

Junior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) finished one stroke off the lead at 79 strokes in second place.

Sophomore Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) secured a sixth-place finish at 86 strokes.

Finishing in seventh place was senior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) with 90 strokes.

In 11th place was freshman Mady Doering (Appleton, Wis.) at 104 strokes.

The Birds are back to action on Saturday at the MSOE Spring Invite.
