Falcons Finish Fourth at Country Club Classic

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The CUW women's golf team opened up the spring portion of the schedule on Monday at the Country Club Classic. The Falcons finished in fourth place at 404 strokes as a team. Illinois College won the competition with 340 strokes.

Senior Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) led the flock in a tie for 17th place at 93 strokes.

In 19th place was freshman Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) at 94 strokes.

Sophomore Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) collected 101 strokes to finish in 24th place.

Junior Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) finished in 26th place at 116 strokes.

Freshman Joy Craig (Rochester, Mich.) and freshman Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) finished in a tie for 30th place at 117 strokes.

The Falcons return to action on Tuesday, April 5 at Clarke.
