Women’s Golf Competes in the NACC Championship Preview

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The women's golf team traveled to Rockford on Sunday to compete in the NACC Championship Preview.

The Spartans of Aurora took the tournament crown posting a 324 on the day.

The Falcons posted a 427 on the single-day tournament slotting them in fifth place in the conference.

Senior Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) once again led the Falcons posting a 94-stroke score that put her in 15th place for the tournament.

Newcomer Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) posted another sub-100 round tallying a 98-stroke card on the day.

In third for the Falcons was sophomore Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) recording a 103-stroke outing slotting her top 30 for the day.

In fourth for the Falcons was freshman Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) with a score of 132 strokes.

The Falcons take a break for the week after three days of competition and return on Friday for their WLC Triangular.
