Women’s Golf Opens the Year at Carthage

BRISTOL, Wis. – The Falcons women's golf team traveled to the Carthage Border Battle at Bristol Oaks Golf Club. The Falcons sit in 15th place with 396 strokes. Carthage leads the pack at 298 strokes, 28 strokes ahead of Wisconsin – Whitewater in second place.

Sophomore Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) led the way for the Falcons with a score of 93 strokes.  She was followed by freshman Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) with a score of 98 strokes.

Senior captain Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) followed that up with a round of 100. Senior Payton Dorn (Freedom, Wis.) and sophomore Kayla Samann (Campbellsport, Wis.) who tied for fourth on the team at 105 strokes.

The Falcons look to jump some spots in tomorrow's round.
