Women’s Golf Opens Play at Whitewater
JANESVILLE, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team opened play at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Fall Invite on Friday. The Falcons finished the day in 13th place with 396 strokes. The Firebirds of Carthage lead the pack with 327 strokes.
Sophomore Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) leads the flock with 91 strokes in 26th place.
In a tie for 50th place is freshman Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) and senior Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) with 94 strokes.
Sophomore Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) sits in 78th place after day one at 117 strokes.
In 79th place is freshman Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) with 125 strokes.
The Falcons will wrap up play on Saturday at Whitewater.
