The Falcon women soar into the 2010-11 season with lots of fresh faces. Coming off their 4th consecutive NAC title, Coach Stacey Brunner-Jones' young team will need to grow up in a hurry.

Graduation took 1st team all conference performer Pearl Wallace and steady guard Meghan Matthies while pre-season injury has claimed feisty guard Brittany Zietlow and athletic swing player Camille Parsons.

Senior Melanie Kulibert is working her way back from a torn ACL that abruptly ended her 2009-10 season and her health is a key to CUW success.

Also returning is 2nd team all conference performer Tiffany Hendrickson, one of the top shooters in the conference. Brunner- Jones will look to junior Kendall Kerns, who started 8 games last season, to anchor the inside.

Junior returnees Emily Wesley and Brittney Toles will be counted on to provide depth, experince, and leadership.

CUW welcomed transfer Becky Gifford into the fold this fall. Gifford was the NAC Rookie of the Year at Aurora last season. A talented freshman class comprised of Megan Bernardoni, Anna Butler, Lisa Donaldson, Katie Luethe, and Lindsey Steinhardt hope to build on the Concordia tradition of excellence.
