The CUW Men Compete at Benedictine

LISLE, Ill. – The CUW men's track & field team competed at the Benedictine Eagle Tune-Up on Friday afternoon. The Blue and White finished in third place with 70 points.

Junior Gideon Cain (Cedarburg, Wis.) continues his record-breaking season in the shot put with a victory in the shot put at 15.45 meters.  He was also the champion in the discus at 42.14 meters and fourth place in the hammer at 38.07 meters.

Sophomore Seth Day (Sunset Hills, Mo.) was the javelin champion on Friday with a mark of 47.27 meters.

Junior Christian Prohl (Downers Grove, Ill.) finished in fifth place in the 400-meter dash at 52.75. He was also 12th in the 200-meter dash at 23.44.

Freshman Austin Thur (Bloomer, Wis.) finished in eighth place in the long jump at 5.79 meters.

Junior William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) was the fastest Falcon in the 800-meter run in ninth place at 2:03.02.

Sophomore Konnor Kingsmore (Colorado Spring, Colo.) led CUW with a fifth-place finish in the triple jump at 13.16 meters and a 20th-place finish in the 100-meter dash at 12.15.

The Falcons will compete at the NACC Championships starting on Friday.
