Men’s Track & Field duo posts a strong day at Division III Elite Championships
WAVERLY, Iowa – The CUW men's track & field team had Gideon Cain and Paul Leahy compete at the Division III Elite Championships on Saturday afternoon.
A junior from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Gideon Cain broke his school record that he just set in the shot put at 15.11 meters. He finished in seventh place in the competition.
A senior from Eldridge, Iowa, Paul Leahy competed in the long jump, where he finished in 13th place at 6.21 meters.
The Falcons open the outdoor season on Friday at Wisconsin Lutheran.
