Gideon Cain claims NACC Student-Athlete of the Week title

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced Gideon Cain as its Student-Athlete of the Week for Men's Outdoor Track & Field on Tuesday afternoon.

A junior from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Gideon Cain is claiming the honor for the second time in his career after a record-breaking performance at WLC Meet for Milwaukee. He also claimed the indoor honor earlier this month.

Cain broke the school record in the shot put with a winning mark of 14.77 meters for the school record. He also placed second in the discus throw at 43.79 meters and fourth in the hammer throw at 37.31 meters.

Cain and the Falcons return to action on Saturday at Carroll.
