Falcons place seventh at Carroll

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The CUW men's track & field team recorded a seventh-place finish at the Carroll Pioneer Invitational with 39 points.

Freshman Tim Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) was the champion in the 800-meter run at 2:04.78. Emmett Williams earned the bronze medal at 2:05.96.

Sophomore Konnor Kingsmore (Colorado Spring, Colo.) was the king of the triple jump pit on Saturday with a winning leap of 13.65 meters.

Junior Gideon Cain (Cedarburg, Wis.) was second in the shot put at 14.44 meters, third in the discus throw at 42.43 meters and sixth in the hammer throw at 41.82 meters.

Junior William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) earned a sixth-place finish in the 1500-meter run at 4:17.92.

Junior Christian Prohl (Downers Grove, Ill.) crossed the finish line at 53.97 in seventh place in the 400-meter dash. He was also 13th in the 200-meter dash at 23.73.

In seventh place in the 400-meter hurdles was freshman Jacob Kelm at 1:04.81.

Freshman Nate Bloxdorf (Hartford, Wis.) had the fastest-Falcon time of the day in the 100-meter dash at 12.12.

CUW closed the day with an eighth-place finish in the 4x400 meter relay at 3:45.57.

The Falcons will compete at Wisconsin Lutheran on April 17.
