Men's Soccer Claimed a Share of the NACC Crown

MEQUON, Wis. - For the eighth-straight season, the CUW men's soccer finished with a winning record of 9-4-5. The Blue and White also went 6-2-4 in the NACC.

In September, the Falcons walked away as the first-ever Oktoberfest Cup champions beating Carroll, 5-3. 

In October, The Falcons picked up a 4-1 victory and an Aurora loss and MSOE tie put the Falcons into a three-way tie for first place. 

CUW claimed one NACC weekly honor in 2022. Freshman Jeremy Munoz was named the NACC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 20. This is the fourth NACC regular season title for the Falcons.

CUW had six players named to All-NACC teams. Senior Miguel Garcia was named to the All-NACC First Team, while senior Ivan Cuellar and senior Jacob Stemper were voted into the All-NACC Second Team. Senior Nick Hummel, freshman Carson Kelly, and senior Alex Labastida were All-NACC honorable mention selections.

Senior Gilberto Gomez was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.

Three Falcons were named to the USC All-Wisconsin State Team; Senior Ivan Cuellar, freshman Carson Kelly, and senior Miguel Garcia.

The Blue and White will be back in action in September.
