Final NCAA statistics released

MEQUON, Wis. -- The CUW men's soccer team (13-6-1, 9-1-1 NAC) concluded the season being ranked among the top-100 nationally in six different statistical categories. The Falcons had the 24th highest shutout percentage in the country, holding opponents scoreless in 55 percent of their matches.

CUW also ranked 30th in total assists, 47th in total goals, 50th in scoring offense, 72nd in won-lost-tied percentage and 91st in team goals against average.

Individually, senior goalkeeper Enrique Alvarado (Mt. Prospect, Ill.) ranked 29th nationally in goals against average, while junior midfielder Kyle Sytsma (Antioch, Ill.) ranked 99th in total points.
