Falcon soccer routs Rockford 8-0

Rockford, Ill. -- Statistics did tell the story of this one-sided affair as Tom Saleska's booters outshot Rockford 33-1 on the way to an 8-0 triumph.

It took 8:52 before sophomore Alberto Valle (Milwaukee, Wis.) blasted home the game's first tally, but by the 20 minute mark CUW (5-4-0) had a 4-0 cushion. Sophomore Jonathon Neulreich (Grafton, Wis.), sophomore Jacob Pope (Muskego, Wis.) and Valle (for a second time) all found the back of the net during that eleven minute span.

By game's end freshman Patrick Birder (Green Bay, Wis.), senior Jordan Bielfeldt (La Mont, Ill.), freshman Michael McCrone (Janesville, Wis), and junior James Kroll (York, Ill.) had all added their names to the Concordia scoring ranks.

The host Regents (3-4-0) did not have a single corner kick as CUW controlled possession throughout. Concordia, 2-0-0 in NAC action, will host non-conference opponent North Central on Saturday at 1pm.
