MEQUON, Wis. – The Lynx of Rhodes completed their sweep of the Southern Athletic Association on Saturday with a 4-0 victory. The loss sends CUW to 6-8 on the year and to 2-3 in the SAA Tournament to finish in a tie for third place.
The Lynx started the scoring with a goal in the first quarter and then added another right before halftime to take a 2-0 lead into the break.
The Red and White added two more goals in the fourth quarter.
Senior Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) had five saves against the Lynx.
Senior AnnaLyssia Abela (Dearborn, Mich.) collected three defensive saves.
Rhodes held a 14-9 advantage in shots on Saturday. Senior Lorri Pitock (Naperville, Ill.) led the Concordia effort with five.
The Falcons close the regular season on Sunday for senior day against Rhodes.
