Lorri Pitock Claims SAA Weekly Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) announced its Athlete of the Week honors on Monday night. Lorri Pitock was voted as the Offensive Player of the Week for field hockey.

A senior from Naperville, Illinois, Lorri Pitock is claiming the honor for the first time this season.

Against Virginia Wesleyan, she scored the game-winning goal and also added an assist in the other CUW goal.

She also sent in the pass that scored the lone CUW goal on Sunday at No. 16 Christopher Newport.

Carlie McKendry of Centre was voted the SAA Defensive Player of the Week.

Pitock and the Falcons open SAA play on Saturday against Centre.
