WAYNE, N.J. – The CUW field hockey team took on the Pioneers of William Patterson on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons got the ball rolling with a goal in the 10th minute off the stick of senior Lorri Pitock (Naperville, Ill.). This was the only Falcon goal of the matchup.
The Pioneers netted two goals in the 22nd and 28th minutes to take the 2-1 victory.
The Falcons finished with three total shots on goal and senior Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) recorded eight saves.
The Falcons head home for a weekend series with Rhodes on Friday and Saturday.
