MEQUON, Wis. – NFL scouts from the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings visited Concordia University Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon to look at and talk with quarterback Austin Damaschke, offensive lineman Nick Smith and wide receiver Garrett Wenzelburger.

The NFL scouts had the trio of Falcons fill out a questionnaire, complete the Wonderlic test, record measurements (height, weight, hand, arm and wing) and run a pair of 40-yard dashes.

"Anytime our players catch the eye of the NFL it is a positive for CUW," head coach Greg Etter said. "I am happy for Austin, Nick and Garrett because they are great young men. I am proud of where the program is going, but we need to continue to prepare for next season."

The two NFL scouts main duty is to collect preliminary information on players entering their senior years.

"It was a different experience from anything I have been a part of in my career," Damaschke said. "The atmosphere when talking with the NFL scouts is something I haven't been a part of before and it was valuable. We as individuals and as a team still need to prepare for another conference title run next season."
