Damaschke earns NACC weekly award after career game
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin's Austin Damaschke was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week after his career game on Oct. 26, as voted by the league's athletic communicators.
Damaschke (Bristol, Wis.) set two program records in the Falcons, 45-28, Cheese Bowl victory over Lakeland College. The junior quarterback threw for a CUW-best 425 yards, while finishing with 536 total yards, also a team record. He tossed one touchdown pass, while also having career highs in rushing yards (111) and rushing touchdowns (4). Damaschke averaged 8.5 yards per pass attempt and 4.6 yards per rush.
The conference honor is the second-consecutive of the season and the fourth of Damaschke's career.
