Etter named WFCA Private College Coach of the Year

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin head coach Greg Etter was named the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Private College Coach of the Year, which is the first honor of his career from the organization.

CUW finished the 2013 season with an 8-2 record, an undefeated Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference title and a spot in the NCAA Division III playoffs. All achievements this season by the Falcons were firsts in Etter's tenure.

The Falcons were unstoppable this season setting 10 team offensive single season records and two special teams single season records. They accumulated the most points, yards and first downs in the programs history.

During Etter's time as leader he has coached 70 All-NACC honorees, including quarterback Austin Damaschke who is a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy and the NACC Offensive Player of the Year. During his six seasons he has amassed a 28-13 record against NACC foes.
