Gonzalez named NACC Special Teams Student-Athlete of the Week
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin kicker David Gonzalez was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Special Teams Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Oct. 28-Nov. 3, as selected by the league's athletic communicators.
Gonzalez (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) scored a career-high 13 points in the Falcons' (6-2, 4-0) win over Rockford University on Saturday. The junior kicker was a perfect 7-for-7 on extra points, while adding two field goals from 37 and 33 yards.
The conference weekly honor is the second of the season and of his career.
