Welcome! The Falcons host the Lions of Finlandia in game two of the weekend series. It is the end of the line for both the Falcons and Lions. The Falcons head into the final day of the season at 2-20-2 and 1-16-1 in the NCHA. The Lions enter at 2-22-0 and 1-16-0 in NCHA play.

The Lions took game one of the series with a 3-2 overtime victory. The Lions struck first with two goals in the first minute of the second period. CUW leveled the game in the third period with goals from Peter Kapak and Justin Schwartzmiller. The Lions found the net in overtime with 3:35 on the clock with a goal from Nick Solema.

Tonight will be the final game for the CUW senior class of 2022 in Cory Dennis, Bryce Fisk, Peter Kapak, Luc Kreuser and Salvatore Scalise. The class helped the Falcons claim their first-ever division title in 2021, where CUW claimed the NCHA North Division crown. Heading into the day, the class has been a part of 30 victories.

Tonight will be the 30th game played in the all-time series between the two schools. The Falcons lead the series with a 15-11-3 record. The Lions have won the last two games.

Both goaltenders in the series have been kept busy this season. Marcus Gloss is second in NCAA Division III in saves with 736 saves. Liam McGarva ranks fifth with 598.

Heading into the weekend, the trio of Jordan Guiney, Luc Kreuser and Alex Way rank 19th in NCAA Division III in short-handed goals. Jordan Guiney is also 18th in the nation with five power-play goals.
