MEQUON, Wis. – The United Soccer Coaches announced its NCAA Division III All-Region Teams on Tuesday afternoon. Concordia Wisconsin landed three Falcons onto the All-Region VIII Teams. Selena Esten and Karoline Haugland were named to the second team and Carmen Rowe was voted to the third team.

Selena Esten

A senior forward from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Selena Esten is making her second-straight appearance on the USC All-Region Team, after earning third-team honors in 2021. Esten led the flock in scoring with 43 points with a team-high 18 goals and seven assists. She also had four game-winning goals against Lawrence, St. Norbert, Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Concordia Chicago. She accomplished all this while only playing in 18 matches. She was also voted to the All-NACC in early November.

Karoline Haugland

A senior midfielder from Bergen, Norway, Karoline Haugland is making her third USC All-Region Team. She was a second-team selection in 2021 and a first-team selection in 2019. She finished the 2022 campaign with nine goals and 12 assists for 30 points, with game-winning goals against Marian and Edgewood. Haugland also earned her fourth All-NACC honor at the beginning of the month.

Carmen Rowe

A sophomore defender from Copley, Ohio, Carmen Rowe is making her first USC All-Region Team. Rowe anchored one of the most robust defenses in the region and finished the season with two assists. Rowe earned her second-straight All-NACC honor in November.

The three selections tie the program record with the 2014 and 2015 teams. CUW landed two selections in the past two years that the honors were awarded.
