Women's Soccer Trio Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The College Sports Communicators released their 2022 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams on Tuesday afternoon.

The 2022 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The Falcons landed Brooke Braga, Isabel Downs and Jordan Lafferty to the CSC Academic All-District Team.

A senior from Surprise, Arizona, Jordan Lafferty is claiming the honor for the second-straight season. Lafferty boasts a 4.00 grade-point average in computer science.

A senior from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Isabel Downs is making her first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District Team. Downs had a 3.95 grade-point average in her undergraduate studies and has a 4.00 in graduate school. Downs finished the season with 17 goals and eight assists, and a team-high five game-winning goals.

A sophomore from Belgium, Wisconsin, Brooke Braga is also making her first CSC appearance with a 4.00 grade-point average in nursing.

All three individuals were also voted to the All-NACC Second Team.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
