MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons fell short in a NACC matchup on Saturday against Aurora. The Spartans secured a 76-64 victory to send CUW to 7-6 and 6-3 in NACC play.

The Falcons jumped out to an early 6-5 lead with a jump shot from junior Reagan Obry (Neenah, Wis.). The Spartans countered with an 11-0 lead and led the rest of the afternoon.

The Black and Blue took a 21-14 lead into the second quarter and a 41-30 lead into halftime.

Halfway through the third quarter, the Spartans pushed the lead up to 15 points at 47-32 and 49-34, but the Falcons did not fold. CUW stormed back with a 12-0 run led by Lindsey Lonigro with four points.

The Spartans closed the third quarter on a 7-1 run to take a 61-52 lead into the fourth quarter.

CUW once again rallied back from a double-digit deficit and a layup from Reagan Obry cut the score to 62-65 with 4:29 left, but that's the closest CUW would get the rest of the afternoon.

Reagan Obry and senior Camryn Szolyga (Waukesha, Wis.) led the flock with 17 points each. The 17 points is a career-high performance for Obry.

The Falcons outrebounded Aurora on Saturday by a 53-31 margin. Junior Lindsey Smitsdorff (Coon Rapids, Minn.) led the effort with a game-high 10 rebounds. Reagan Obry, Camryn Szolyga and Erin Viergutz all finished with eight.

Camryn Szolyga dished out a game-high five assists that tie her career-high that she set on Tuesday.
