Men's Hockey shut out by No. 1 St. Norbert

DE PERE, Wis. – No. 1 ranked St. Norbert College struck once in each period as the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Hockey team was blanked, 3-0, Saturday night in NCHA play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Green Knights scored once in each period as played strong enough defense to hold off the Falcons on Saturday night. T.J. Black needed just 13 saves in picking up the win for St. Norbert

- Riley Christensen scored a power play goal 15:42 into the opening period, which would go down as the game-winning score for the Green Knights. Two of the three goals were scored on the power play, the other a third period score from Erik Cooper.

- Freshman Jack Romanuik (Melfort, Saskatchewan) played well between the pipes for the Falcons, keeping them in the game by stopping 34 shots. He was especially on point in the first period, stopping 14 shots. CUW was outshot 15-2 in the opening 20 minutes, but Romanuik kept his team within one with his superb play.

UP NEXT
- The Falcons are set for their final two home games of the 2015-16 season next weekend with a home NCHA series against St. Scholastica. The series will start on Friday night at 7 p.m., which will be followed by a 4 p.m. Saturday game, which will also be Senior Day. Both games will take place at the Ozaukee Ice Center.
