Border Battle Cup on the line for Men's Hockey

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin and Lake Forest College began a new tradition last year, playing for the Border Battle Cup, a new trophy between both the Men's and Women's Hockey teams. This weekend the Men's Hockey programs will compete for the trophy in Lake Forest on Friday at 7 pm before playing in Mequon on Saturday at 7 pm.

Lake Forest won last year's series 2-0 after winning 9-1 on its home ice on January 23 before earning a 5-1 victory inside the Ozaukee Ice Center on January 24. If either team gains three points this weekend, they will take home the trophy. If the two teams split the weekend series, or tie in both games, a shootout will take place following Saturday night's matchup at the Ozaukee Ice Center.

In addition, a Halloween costume will take place on Saturday night with prizes to be given to the best dressed. As well, those unable to attend the series can follow the action live via CUWFalcons.com.
