Men's Hockey falls on the road to MSOE

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Hockey team fell on the road 4-1 to MSOE on Friday night in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association matchup.

THE BASICS
- Final Score: MSOE 4, Concordia Wisconsin 1

- Records: Concordia Wisconsin 1-2-0, 1-2-0 NCHA; MSOE 2-1-0, 2-1-0 NCHA

HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Raiders would score twice in the second stanza, building a 3-0 lead. Zach Simpson would score a short-handed goal and Encisco scored his second goal of the game with about three minutes remaining in the period.
- The Falcons lone goal came with seven seconds remaining in the second as senior Buster Hebda (Firestone, Colo.) scored his first goal of the season.
- MSOE would make the final 4-1, 22 seconds into the third period as Encisco would find the back off the net for the third time on the night to complete the hat-trick.
- The Raiders received a 27-save performance from Nick Kohn, while the Falcons got 33 stops from freshman Andy Munroe (Newmarket, Ontario).

- Despite the loss, CUW has yet to give up a power play goal this season.

UP NEXT
