MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Soccer team dropped another close one Sunday, falling 1-0 against St. Norbert in the 2016 home opener. The loss was the fourth straight for CUW, all of those coming by one goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The lone goal came just 1:46 into the second half as the Green Knights Monica Stephens buried a shot from just outside the 18-yard box. She floated it in the top left corner of the goal for the 1-0 lead.
- The Falcons finished the match with more shots, outshooting St. Norbert 13-9 in the contest. CUW had six shots on goal to three for the Green Knights.
- The Green Knights Maddie Plinska finished with five saves, while senior Ariana Worthing (Saginaw, Mich.) tallied one save. Each team finished with a team save, where a defender stopped a would be goal from going in. The Green Knights team save came near the end of regulation, preserving the one-goal lead.
