Press Pass: Women's Soccer seeks third straight win Wednesday

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Soccer team is searching for its third straight win Wednesday when the Falcons welcome Marian to Fitting Field. The match will be one of three at home for the Falcons this week.

THE BASICS
- Who: Marian (4-9-0, 2-5-0 NACC) at Concordia Wisconsin (3-9-1, 3-3-1 NACC)
- Where: Fitting Field – Mequon, Wisconsin
- When: Wednesday, October 19 – 4 p.m.
- Live Coverage: CUWFalcons.com will provide video (weather permitting) and live stats. Links can be found on the Women's Soccer schedule page. Note: If the weather does not cooperate, a live audio broadcast will take place rather than video.

DIGITAL GAME PROGRAM
- Fans can access the digital program for Wednesday's match by clicking here. CUWFalcons.com switched last season to a digital program format. These can be accessed from this link, or by scanning a QR code at the match. Limited printed programs will be available at each match for $2.

PRESS PASS
-CUW picked up two important NACC wins last week, 10-1 over Alverno and 2-0 at Dominican. The Falcons moved to 3-3-1 in the league standings and are well alive for a NACC Tournament berth.

-Senior Abigail Freeland was named the NACC Women's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week for last week's events. Freeland played a part in both of the Falcons goals at Dominican, while also help anchoring the defense in a shutout win.

-CUW has featured a balanced attack this season with no player having more than three goals. Three players (Freeland, Klumpp, Schieffer) have scored three times. Five players have added two goals apiece.

- The Falcons own a 9-6 record against Marian since the 2003 season. CUW snapped a two-match skid against Marian last season with a 4-1 road win.
